Relationship
Coworkers
We spend more waking hours with coworkers than almost anyone else. The workplace is a mission field, not just a place to endure.
When the relationship is good
Attitudes
I see my workplace as a mission field, not just a place I endure to pay bills
I am genuinely interested in the people I work alongside, not just their job performance
I understand that how I treat coworkers is part of my witness, not separate from it
Actions
I notice when a coworker is struggling and say something — not just walk past
I give credit to others generously and do not grab it for myself
I do my work with full effort, as if working for God rather than just for a paycheck
When the relationship is hard
Attitudes
I choose not to join in gossip or complaint culture at work, even when it is the norm
I do not let a toxic workplace make me toxic — I remain responsible for my own conduct
I see a difficult coworker as someone to pray for, not just manage or avoid
Actions
When conflict arises, I go directly to the person rather than building a coalition against them
I hold firm on honesty and integrity even when cutting corners seems to be what everyone does
I pray quietly for coworkers by name — for their work, their family, their wellbeing
